Tired of being tired
[info]witchrayc

I just finished up have a battery of heart tests yesterday and now I have to wait for the results next Wednesday. I am tired 24/7 and I can't figure out why. I take about 18 different meds and I wonder if the combination or any one particular one is causing this need to sleep. Oh well.

When I see the doctor on Wednesday I plan to ask him if I am healthy enough to go through bariatric surgery so I can have the bariatric band. The surgery is less invasive than the gastric bypass, it allows for a slower loss of weight and that will help reduce the the spare flesh that results from rapid weight loss. Weight has always been a problem and I want to have some fun time in my dotage and maybe eliminate half the pills. I am running low on clothes and they will need to be replaced as the weight goes bye bye. So rather than killing the bird with two stones, I'll drop the whole mountain on it.

Kentucky is having a very nice summer and we will probably make the record books for the coolest summer in record. We have only had a few days of 90 degree weather and it makes for a very nice time. It has rained almost every other day which has helped the drought problem. The creek behind the house is cutting deeper into the ground rather than overflowing the banks. It has gone from an always babbling brook to a raging mini river.

Biggest detractor in all this weather wonder is the lose of power. We have had many trees fall and take out the lines. The power was out for 24 hours the one day, 4 the next day and 4 the last time. With all the grant money being given away, it is a wonder that the electric company doesn't hire extra help to cut trees and trim around lines to prevent further tree damage to lines.

That's my blab for today!

Which Doctor
[info]witchrayc

Well I just spent the last couple of days going to the doctor and having crappy test results. Yesterday was titled, "How to waste an entire day at the cardiologist, only to have to come back on the 3rd and have a chemical stress test and be fitted with a heart monitor!" I believe in good descriptive titles that keep you from having to read the rest of the book that maybe very boring! Yea me!
